SHANNON DICKERSON, MSW

Biography

Shannon Dickerson believes that people must be at the center of dreaming
about, developing and sustaining their communities. In her role as a
Systems Design + Learning Lead at Invest STL she builds investment
systems, and facilitates investment relationships that shift power to
communities.

In previous roles, she managed federal grant initiatives, developed youth
programs and community engagement initiatives, supported campaign
development, events, and communications at a couple of nonprofits, and
served as an AmeriCorps VISTA. Shannon studied Television and Film at
Boston University and has a Master’s in Social Work from the Brown School
of Social Work at Washington University. Shannon lives in Dutchtown with
her partner, and too many animals.
